Guardian Homes
All Lumar Labradoodles live happy lives as the center of attention in their loving homes. All of our breeding dogs, without exception, live their entire lives as happy family pets. That’s why we created Guardian Homes.
To give each pup the attention and care they deserve, most of our breeding dogs live in Guardian Homes. They spend their entire lives with their families and just come to us to participate in our breeding program.
For the Guardian Family, it’s an exciting chance to be a part of what we do here at Lumar Labradoodles! In exchange for their participation in the program, the dog is provided free of charge. There is a deposit to participate in the program.
You may qualify to be a Guardian Home if you are a permanent resident of Hampton Roads, Richmond, or Williamsburg and meet at least one of following conditions:
- You are an adult who stays home or works from home
- You have the ability and desire to take a dog to work
- You employ a dog walker to visit throughout the day while you are at work (puppies cannot be alone for more than 3 hours at a time)

Available Guardian Home Puppies are posted below. You MUST be a permanent resident of one of the following Virginia cities: Suffolk, Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, Portsmouth, Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg, or Richmond.
Oliver
Oliver is looking for his forever GUARDIAN HOME located 10 minutes from our home off Bennett’s Pasture Road in North Suffolk. Oliver is wonderful and we are in love! He is a small medium boy with perfect conformation, a strong body, a beautiful face, and that stunning deep red coat. But his personality is what stands out most of all! Oliver is full of exuberance and fun! He is loving, happy, friendly, and spunky. He is happy hanging out at home with his humans, playing with doggy friends, or hitting the road for an adventure. Oliver is a wonderful ambassador of our breed! We are pleased to report that he is fully tested to the ALAA Gold Paw Standard, passing his testing with flying colors. His hips are rated by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals as being free of signs of hip dysplasia, his elbows are negative for dysplasia, and he is cleared for eye diseases and the Paw Prints Genetics panel of diseases. His genetic profile is on file with the ALAA. Message us for more information about Olive or our Guardian Home program, where a family receives a free puppy who is a member of the Lumar team!
Oliver

HUGE thanks to our friends at Poppy Hills Labradoodles in Austin, TX, for blessing us with this boy. He is wonderful and we are in love! Oliver is a medium boy with perfect conformation, a strong body, a beautiful face, and that stunning deep red coat. But his personality is what stands out most of all! Oliver is full of exuberance and fun! He is loving, happy, friendly, and spunky. He is happy hanging out at home with his humans, playing with doggy friends, or hitting the road for an adventure. Oliver is a wonderful ambassador of our breed! Oliver lives with his extraordinary Guardian Family in the Great Bridge area of Chesapeake and enjoys snuggles from all 10 of his human siblings!
